Welcome to our new class blog!  Although the school year is almost over, I am excited about beginning a blog so I can better communicate with both my parents and students.  I am taking a Rank I class for my graduate studies and having a class blog is one of my first projects so help me out and let me here from  you soon.

Please realize that this blog is open to anyone who want to post including parents, students, teachers, administrators and others! I do have a default feature that allows me to first approve any comments made so your comment or reply or even a new blog will not show up until I have approved it. This is to keep anything that is inappropriate from showing up on our site so I do hope you will understand and be patient for me to approve.

Our field trip to the zoo was the first time kindergarten has gone on a trip out of state. I was unsure if the one hour and a half trip would be too much but the children were great.  They loved the zoo and especially loved feeding the giraffes! Thank you for your help with supervising the children. It would not have been possible otherwise.  Please let me know how you think the field trip was. Also, please let your child tell you their favorite part of the trip so we can share this with the class.   I look forward to hearing from you and your child! Blog

I do hope you have enjoyed looking at all the school pictures for this school year. I am sorry I was so late posting these but the year has just flown by!  Now you can simply copy and paste pictures you want or I will be happy to burn a CD for parents who would like their own copy.  This may be something I will have to do over summer break because I am in a college class and my time is limited. Please just let me know if you want your own CD and I will burn it and get it to you a.s.a.p. Have a great summer break!

I always enjoy your feedback at the end of the year concerning your child's progress and what you feel your child has learned to do well as a result of having been in kindergarten.  I just want to say this has been a very special group to me and I think that every student has made exceptional progress this school year.  Thank you for allowing me to teach your child.
